Keep Admiral Cem Gurdeniz, Turkish navy patriot and great friend of the USS ORLECK DD 886 and his family in your thoughts and prayers.  His fate is in the hands of the Constitutional Court in Turkey.  Cem was falsely charged and convicted of conspiracy to overthrow the Republic of Turkey by its Islamic government prosecutors.   He and 450 top military leaders were arrested and charged in cases known as Balyoz or Sledgehammer.   Cem has been deprived of his liberty and kept from his family for over three years and now from his new grandchild.  This picture is one of the ongoing demonstrations in support of the men by their family and friends.
